I’m a child of your typical entrepreneurial family – raised on the ideal that you can achieve anything you want to if only you work hard enough. And for a long while, this approach worked for me – happily running my own relocation agency for over fourteen years.
Throughout this time, I’d already been working quite intensely on my own personal development: yoga, reiki, coaching, esotericism … A seeker, I learned a lot about myself on this quest. Above all, I learned that my strength lies in helping others uncover or rediscover their own inner strength and confidence.
Eventually, I realised I was no longer getting any satisfaction from working hard, harder, hardest, and I quit the rat race. In the void that followed, I discovered what really makes me happy …
People! What motivates them. What drives them. And how to help them.
This curiosity about people ultimately led me to the coaching profession. And it turned out this was my true calling. I went on to take several coaching training programmes both here in the Netherlands and overseas.
In coaching sessions, I combine genuine curiosity and keen observation to create the space and opportunity for you to discover who you truly are. In practice, this means I help you find and apply your own solutions to your own challenges and ultimately how to optimise your work-life balance.
I frequently coach English speakers, too, having always worked in an international environment in which we almost exclusively communicated in English.
For each and every client, I draw on personal insight and many years of experience to provide you with a tailor‑made coaching programme.
This includes techniques from progress-focused coaching, mixed with somatic/body-oriented approaches and based on my own intuition.
After all, everybody is different and learns in their own way. I also work based on the philosophy that the glass is already half full and focus on what is already going well.
Available online for clients anywhere and everywhere. And ‘offline’ in Laren (The Netherlands), too!
